After sunset, night creatures come out, colours look brighter under your torch, and familiar sites feel brand new. The Night Diver specialty gives you the skills and confidence to enjoy it safely.

What you will learn

• Planning, organising and making night dives.
• Using dive lights and communicating with your buddy in the dark.
• Entries, exits and navigation at night.
• Night-time marine life and how to observe it without disturbing it.

How the course runs

• Knowledge development: PADI eLearning at your own pace, or a classroom session with your instructor.
• 3 night dives with your instructor. Open water dives take place in the sea in Jeddah or Dammam.
• On completion you receive the PADI Night Diver certification.

• All diving equipment — you can bring your own wetsuit or buy one at the center.
• Sea (beach) entry fees.
• Training with certified PADI instructors.

Before you start

• Minimum age: 12 years.
• Prerequisite: PADI Open Water Diver (or Junior Open Water Diver), or an equivalent certification.
