PADI's most popular specialty — and for good reason.
Enriched air (nitrox) has more oxygen and less nitrogen than normal air, so you can stay longer at recreational depths and enjoy shorter surface intervals between dives. On a Red Sea dive day, that means more time on the reef.
What you will learn
- How enriched air extends your no-decompression limits.
- Analysing the oxygen content of your own cylinder.
- Setting your dive computer for enriched air.
- Managing oxygen exposure and planning safe enriched air dives.
How the course runs
- Knowledge development: PADI eLearning at your own pace, or a classroom session with your instructor.
- Practical session: analyse a nitrox cylinder and set up your dive computer with your instructor.
- No dives are required to certify. You can add optional enriched air dives in Jeddah or Dammam.
- On completion you receive the PADI Enriched Air Diver certification.
