The next step after Open Water — learn by diving.

The PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course is built around five adventure dives. Two are required — deep and navigation — and you choose three more with your instructor. It qualifies you to dive to 30 metres.

What you will learn

• Deep diving between 18 and 30 metres (required).
• Underwater navigation with a compass and natural features (required).
• Three adventure dives you choose with your instructor from: Peak Performance Buoyancy, Night Diver, Wreck Diver, Boat Diver, Drift Diver, Fish Identification, Digital Underwater Photographer, Search and Recovery, Enriched Air (Nitrox) Diver, Diver Propulsion Vehicle.

How the course runs

• Knowledge development: PADI eLearning at your own pace.
• 5 adventure dives in the sea from our dive sites in Jeddah or Dammam, with private training beach access.
• Electives are chosen with your instructor based on your goals and the conditions on the day.
• On completion you receive the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certification.

What's included

• PADI eLearning materials.
• All diving equipment — you can bring your own wetsuit or buy one at the center.
• Sea (beach) entry fees.
• Training with certified PADI instructors.

Before you start

• 12 years or older.
• PADI Open Water Diver (or Junior Open Water Diver), or an equivalent certification.
